Purlins

Purlins Type C

The products of metallic profiles type C are formed from galvanised strips of high tensile strength. Providing an effective, resilient and in expensive system for building with metallic frame.

The standard thickness of the material  (t) is 1.50, 2.00, 2.50 and 3.00mm.

The C purlin can be used as a roof rurlin, window and door frames. Furthermore combined with the purlins type Ζ, they provide the appropriate support for a wide range of metallic frames. The purlins  type C can be installed easily using supporting steel angles.

The standard length of purlins type C varies from 2 till 14m (±10mm). The maximum permissible distance between purlins is 9m. the punching of purlins is made in pairs of holes and according to the calculation of the engineer. In case of purlin type C120 and C140, the punch diameter is ø14mm and bolts M12 8.8 with washer should be used. For C180 & C210 the hole has a diameter ø18mm and the bolts should be Μ16-8.8 with washer.

Purlins Type Z

The products of metallic profiles type Z are formed from galvanised strips of high tensile strength. Providing an effective, resilient and in expensive system for building with metallic frame.

The standard thickness of the material  (t) is 1.50, 2.00, 2.50 and 3.00mm.

The purlins type Ζ have the capability to overlap each other - a continuous system of connection, so  duplicating the thickness we ensure a continuity of purlins  with increased endurance on the places of maximum load. the length of overlapping depends on the load applied to the purlins and the distance between the purlins and frames. Usually, the overlapping length is 0.6m. Another method of connecting Z purlins is with double-sided support for simple constructions.

The standard length of purlins type Z varies from 2 till 14m (±10mm). The maximum permissible distance between purlins is 9m. the punching of purlins is made in pairs of holes and according to the calculation of the engineer. In case of purlin type  Z140, the punch diameter is ø14mm and bolts M12 8.8 with washer should be used. For Z180 & Z210 the hole has a diameter ø18mm and the bolts should be Μ16-8.8 with washer.
