Hexagonal wire mesh

Hexagonal wire mesh is used to prevent rocks and debris from falling onto roads, railways and wherever there is a risk of life or damage to property.

Rockfall netting is manufactured from hexagonal woven wire mesh type 60 or 80, also known as double twisted mesh. The steel wire used is commonly heavily galvanized according to EN10244-2 and is woven on rolls of 20,00m or according to customer specifications, in accordance to the EN10223-3.

Additionally, to provide added protection Zn95Al5 coated wire or wire with PVC coating extruded over the heavily galvanized is utilized in environments with pollution, such as acidic soils or water, with proximity to the sea or generally in cases that the risk of corrosion is higher.

The width of the mesh can vary up to 4.00m always in accordance with the project requirements.

It can be used on its own or combined with stoned.

On its own it can be used for...

Slope stabilisation and reinforcement.

Control, Prevention and stabilisation of soil.

Rockfall confinement

In combination with  stones it can be used for...
